I am planning to use my brand new Kenmore Refrigerator (top freezer) as a kegerator. Model: 253.6880 I would like to drill two holes (3 inches off center) through the left sidewall (looking at the front door). What would be the safest hieght at which to drill, or what would be the place to avoid drilling? Thanks in advance for any help ...

For anyone else who may be considering this, I say: "go for it"! I was very cautious, because of things I had read online ... so here is how I handled it. I first drilled a 1/4" hole, very carefully, just barely breaking through the outer metal shell. Next I got a flashlight and an allen wrench and did a little probing through the insulation, to make sure there was nothing in the way for the next step. The next step was to drill the 7/8" hole (with a hole saw), again just barely through the metal. Then I got out the allen wrench and flashlight to clear the insulation, carefully checking for any lines or wires. Once I determined that everything was clear, I drilled through the inner plastic shell. The rest is history ... Slainte! :)
