We moved into a new house, and the previous owners did not leave the manual for the Kenmore Self-cleaning convection range. I'm trying to clean it, but when I hit the Flex Clean button, the oven door locks to start the cleaning cycle, but after a few seconds it beeps and the error code F40 is displayed. What does this error code mean and can I fix it without having to pay for a repairman to come out? Thanks!

Hello.
The model number you posted doesn't come up on any research sites. Double check it, please. Is it US model or Canadian? Unfortunately we don't have access to foreign product literature.

I couldn't find it either when searching for the manual online. It's Canadian, and I've triple checked the model number and I have it typed correctly. I've noticed other people posting that got the same error message when trying to use the self-clean feature on their oven though, so I'm hoping it can be figured out without the model number. It's a Kenmore Self-Cleaning Convection Range. I've been searching but I have yet to find an answer to what F40 means and how it can be fixed.
