I can't tell what is causing the water pan under my refrigerator to keep filling with water. I don't see any leaks but it sounds like the some mechanism is intentionally redirecting water into the overflow pan. I here a valve "click" water start to move (as if going to the ice maker) but instead going to the overflow pan. About every 6 months this pan overflows and makes a mess of our wood floors. Any ideas what might be the culprit??? THANKS.

Or you have a leak in a hose. Take the bottom front off, and lay down on the floor, and hit the water dispenser and see if it leaks out on the back side of the filter. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
