I bought a new icemaker as the recommended substitute from appliance parts pros and changed the ice maker. It is not making ice, so I was wondering if there is a float valve in this unit and what the part number is and where on your website schematic it shows up. I asked about a water filter, but the customer support person said there is none on this unit. Is that accurate? If there is one, where is it and what is the part number? I checked the water dispenser and it flopws water as it always has, but does that really test the water flow going to the ice maker? Is the main water line split after it comes into the refrigerator, so the line segment to the ice maker could be frozen or clogged? Would defrosting the freezer help?

Thanks.

Check the big tube that comes into the icemaker to see if it is clogged with ice.
