We've had a Maytag Atlantis Washer for a little over 10 yrs. It's worked fine, but in the last few months we've noticed it acting a little strange. Running rough, intermittent issues with water not draining during cycle, and sometimes having to turn timer knob a couple of times to start a load.

We went to do a new load of laundry and absolutely nothing happens. We can't get anything to happen. I have the control panel opened up, and just wondering if there is anything particular to look for that might help diagnose the problem.

You got bad timer control.
The timer is bolted to the control panel. To get to the bolts the knob and skirt has to come off. The knob is held in place by a long black rod that mounts in the rear. To remove the knob you simply pull back the rod to release the knob and it comes right off. The tip of the rod spreads the shaft and locks the knob onto it. When pulled back the rod releases the knob.
