The fridge was cycling between 56 and 60 degrees when on the coldest setting. The Freezer is at about 23 degrees. I took the back panel off in the freezer side to reveal the frozen coils...which I have defrosted. The fridge now won't get below 70...
The fans are now blowing but it isn't going to keep our food from spoiling!
Is there a thermal fuse or reset switch that I need to reset? What should I check next?

Does the compressor run? Here are the break down diagrams for the Jenn Air refrigerator Model JSD2789GESGene.

Thanks for your response. The compressor is running.
The fridge side is fluctuating from 60 last night down to 32 this morning...but I did leave it on the coldest setting overnight. I think it may be the adaptive defrost control, at least that is what I am going to try next. Should have the part tomorrow.

How long time have been since you defrosted the evaporator coil and turned the fridge back on?
It suppose to be at least 24 hrs for the fridge to built up a proper temperature.

I defrosted it yesterday afternoon. So...you think I may have solved the issue with just the defrost? I wil check it when I get back home.
Thanks!

It's hard to say so far. You have to monitor it for a few days.
The adaptive defrost control is the most common problem for Maytag and Jenn Air refrigerators.
If the frost will show up on the back panel in the freezer - replace it.
