The wire bale that acts as the shutoff for the ice-maker does not work. It feels like it is no longer actuating the switch. It does not click, and remain up. Because the ice-maker runs 24/7, the refrigerator is freezing everything, even though I have turned the thermostat down, all the way. Is there a part that typically breaks that can be replaced, or does the whole unit need replacing? I have the parts blow-out, but I haven't been able to determine the interface between the wire bale and the on/off switch without removing, and opening, the unit. I appreciate any help that you may provide. Thank you.
