:( I took a glass of water from the dispenser water. AftI removed the glass, the lever returned to normal position but the water continued running. I had to close the main inlet to stop the water from running.:eek:

The cause of the problem you describe could be ether water inlet valve or the water lever dispenser switch.Locate the water valve at the back of the refrigerator, open the water and take off both plugs from the valve. If the water flow want stop replace the water valve. If it will, replace the water lever switch.
