My dishwasher was never properly installed and now tilts forward whenever I open it and pull open the top drawer. I have granite counter tops. I have read other entries in the forum and it seems the best fix is getting the side mount brackets. I am not excited about the idea of uninstalling and reinstalling my dishwasher. I read in one forum response that securing it to the floor may be an option. I see the holes where the screws would go through but would appreciate some tips on how I accomplish this. I'm assuming I would use hex head screws and a socket wrench but is there a way to get some pilot holes started?

You can find the instructions in the Installation manual.
