I just replaced a leaking water tank on this model. Before the water worked but just made a terrible mess. Ice maker worked prior but not working now. Solonoid seems to be working but I dont know how to check it. Do these units need primed when replaced?

This shouldn’t have had anything to do with the icemaker unless the water was cut off and not turned back on. It doesn’t have to be primed but you might have to hold the lever for a few minutes to fill the reservoir and get all the air out the line. Refrigerator repair guide
