Hello all - what is the easiest way to attach the drum baffle to a whirlpool dryer?

Look into the space between the cabinet lid and front. You'll see a clip at each corner, about two inches in from the sides. Pop these with a putty knife or similar tool, and the lid will raise up, exposing the tumbler. Reattach the baffle with screws from the outer circumference of the tumbler. (The screws may be at the bottom of the cabinet).

Will any screws work in reattaching the baffle?

#8 or #10 wood (or other aggressive thread). 1" t0 1-1/2" in length. Use any type head except flat, as they will probably loosen up.
