I have a 6 year old Tromm washer that flashes a code OE. Occaisionally, when this happens I can shut the washer off, turn it back on and place it in spin. Then the pump runs, drains the water and it spins like it should. Sometimes the pump makes little to no noise at all, it does not drain and again flashes the OE code. I have cleaned the drain, the filter etc. Nothing. I have removed string, nails, bobby pins, coins etc from the filter and pump in the past.
It doesn't seem consistent enough to be the pump, although the pump is louder now than it used to be.
Wife is frustrated, as am I. We have 3 kids and I get dirty working so we need the washer functioning well soon.
Thanks for your help.

I have the same washer and was having the same problem although I was not getting the error message. It would drain when it wanted too...then got loud I replaced the motor, and the washer runs fine now.
