I don't know what happened, but our dryer isn't throwing any heat. It's running fine otherwise, it tumbles and all. This is an electric dryer, it runs on a circuit breaker and is about 15-20 years old, I can't remember when we got it. We've cleaned out the lint filter and the exhaust tube that leads to outside appears fine.
I'm wondering if, since this is an old machine, this is this even fixable? If we don't have to buy a new one I'd rather save the money.

If the heater coil is good, you will need a meter to check things.
