Dryer goes on for a little while, shuts down and then will not start. Dryer is hot. Sounds like it wants to start...Help!!!! Thank you!

I assume when it does start up it works correctly for a while.
Open it up and clean it out, particularly the blower and see if that helps, but if not from what you said it sounds like a new motor is going to be in your future.

I would pull the dryer apart and put a "cheater" cord on pins 4 and 5, always blue and white wires attached to the motor switch. Just plug the end of that in the wall outlet. Let it run for awhile to see if it will cut out.
