Hi how are you, Im not too familiar with microwave circuitry so here's my question. I have a KitchenAid Microwave Hood Combination ( model YKHMS155L ) which now has no working lights, the lights are all good but will not come on... both cooktop lights nor oven light will not operate even when new bulbs are in. I placed a stainless bowl to warm up some sauce but did not realize there was copper in that bowl as well.... after a few seconds I heard some zapping and then all microwave lights went out.... all other microwave functions still work perfect. Is it possible I fried a circuit in the microwave.... I'm hoping there is a safety switch on this model which could be reset to get the lights working again, your thoughts....
Thank you,

Both hood and cavity lights are operated by the control board. The wiring diagram shows a fuses for the light relays, but there is nothing in the parts list and I could not find any pictures of the control board.

Unfortunately this part is no longer available.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL YKHMS155LBL0 | AppliancePartsPros.com
