The dryer makes a loud noise while drying since a couple of weeks
it is a heavy machine like sound
I changed the FELT, Slide Drum, Dryer drum slide , but the sound is still there
When i take off the van belt , disconnecting the motor from the drum , the noise is gone, so i think the motor is ok.
I tried pulling or releasing the Spanner , but it does not change the sound.
I greased the rear drum bearing.
Hope that you can help me out with this problem

Hi Bing

Noises are very difficult for us to diagnose on a Forum because the main way we do a diagnosis is to listen to where the noise is coming from, which of course we cannot do in your case.

Given your info I think your noise may be coming from the tension idler, so check it out. If that is not the problem your rear changing out the rear bearing may solve it.

Good luck, hope this helps.
