 This GE model has a top freezer and bottom refrigerator. My wife keeps getting upset because water drips down the back of the refrigerator and accumulates in the vegetable and fruit trays. I put a plastic cup under the temperature control panel and the water collects in the cup instead of the vegetable trays. Is this a problem due to a bad heater element in the temperature control panel? If I replace the element, will this resolve the problem?

Possibly could be a clogged drain. need to check freezer drain for debri. When it goes into defrost water needs to exit the small drain when heater goes thru defrost. Hope that helps.
