We need to install new supports for the lowest shelf in the refrigerator. Any ideas on how to REMOVE the broken supports? The new supports look like the act like a wall anchor with a metal pin in the center.

Get a pair of pliers and clamp on the broken support
while pushing inwards. Rotate the broken support 90 degrees and it will pull out easily. Reverse the procedure for install. Not as hard as it
looks once you know how to do it.:)

Thanks for the technique. Needed to replace for over a year. Tug and brute strength didn't work. Now I will find the replacement part.
