Hello. Our GE Dryer will run as long as you hold the start button. As soon as you let the button go, it stops. On some occassions, it will stop after holding the button in and running for several seconds. I've seen similar problems listed on the board with varying replies. Is this a motor problem or switch problem? Thanks.

In order to provide the most accurate advise I need the complete model number of the dryer.

i feel there is problem with start switch on motor goin to run winding
