I have a Kenmore Ultrawash III portable dishwasher - Model # 665.1760993 - It has begun to leak UNDER the dishwasher (not the door area) & is also making a loud "grinding" noise. I started the dishwasher & it began to fill up with water - then the noise started next it started leaking all over the floor! Any suggestions?

Remove the toe panel and check where is the water coming from. Post the results and the rest of the model number (2 more digits).

It appears to be leaking from the center area - possibly the motor? I verified the model # and 665.1760993 is what listed no other possible numbers to it.

Check the name plate on the door frame for the complete model number.

My husband verified & got the same information as I did - that is all of the numbers - however it may be 665.1765993 or 665.1766993. There is no other numbers listed for the model # - no other room for any additional numbers & the whole name plate is in place.

Sears shows two models for the 665.1760993: 665.17609300[/URL] and 665.176099301. Fortunately they both have the same pumps.

If there is no cracks in the pump body then the motor assembly has to be replaced. You probably have to order the volute seal together with the motor.

- The motor assembly
Part number: AP3179652
Part number: AP3179652

- The volute seal Part number: AP3039198
Part number: AP3039198

Thank you for all of your assistance with our problem! We very much appreciated it! By chance do you know - Can we order this at any place that sells dishwashers or do we need to special order it from a particular place? Thank you again! :)

Usually whoever sells appliances do not sell parts. It suppose to be a special appliance parts store. If you would like to buy it through Appliance Parts Pros then you can talk to their team regarding the ETA on the motor.
