Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/29/2009(UTC) Posts: 11,699		Use a meter to see if 120v is coming to the hot water valve when the timer is calling for hot water. If so, the valve is defective and should be replaced. If not, the temp selection switch or the timer is the issue.
