Side by side refrigerator freezer side does not get colder, the frig side works OK.Any ideas?

Measure your freezer temperature, should be like 10 degrees, if not, remove freezer back panel and describe frost pattern.

freezer and frig not cooling frost is build up on the freezer back panial can any one help?

Your freezer is not getting defrosted. Pull the cover off the motherboard in the back of fridg. Locate the 4 pin power connector and note which pins are labled line and def. Remove the connector and place a jumper between the mating pins on the connector. Plug fridg back in and monitor the jumper current with an amprobe, should be 3 amps and the freezer should defrost. If so, replace the motherboard AP4297272, verify correct part # on the parts list. If no current, you probably have a bad defrost thermostat in the freezer.
