Hello all.

Just had an ice maker installed and it wont work. There are a few ice cubes, but no matter what I do, no dice.

Any advice would be appreciated.

In order to provide the most accurate advise I need the complete model number of the fridge.

JD21 is not the valid model number.

Verify and repost it, please.

Assuming you just added the ice maker on, the first thing I would do is check if there is power to the ice maker.

Unplug the ice maker and check for 120V across the black and the light blue wires on the plug.

If there is 120V, then go back to the installation instruction and verify the whole procedure. Make sure you did not miss anything.

Put the ice maker back and make sure the arm is in down position.

Good luck.

Hello Gene.

Thans for the advice.

I did not install the thing - it was installed after we got the fridge.

The hook up seems fine as it is making a few ice cubes, byt not to its full potential. Its makeing a few then stops. It should be making a few pounds a week.

What would you suggest next??

Does it have an in-line water filter?

If it does, how old is it?

Gene.
