I have an Ultra Fabric Care Heavy Duty 90 Series Lady Kenmore Washer. It won't go through the cycles. I set it for a medium load and when I went to check on it, it had filled to the top and water was overflowing onto my garage floor. I manually moved the dial to the next cycle, a good amount of water drained out, then had to move it to the rinse cycle, moved it to rinse and spin, and then to the final spin.

Could it be a timer? If so, is there anywhere online that I could find a video showing how to replace it? I don't really want to replace it because it is a fantastic machine. Thanks for any ideas as to what could be wrong with it and knowledge on fixing it.

Sounds like a problem with the water level pressure switch or the air tube that goes to the switch maybe plugged on the end.
