Plastic Liner Models
Serial # ZH - RL
Dec 05 - Aug 06
PSS23MS

I had to replace my motherboard and think it may be part of the recall. How do I read the serial numbers above from the bulletin? My SN starts with ML, am I included in this.

Thanks!

I just called GE about a motherboard replacement. I told them I thought my motherboard was on a recall list issued in 2006. There was a recall but I was told that my motherboard was not on the list.
For compensation, they dropped the replacement price to $74 and some change which is a huge discount, that includes shipping next day.
The part number is labeled on the motherboard. Mine reads "WKKT Model No. 0158-00-04". The GE part number is also listed in smaller print "GEA Part No:200D4854G013.
Going to GE web site I found out the original motherboard is no longer made and is replaced by another.
I can't say anything negative, I got 10 years out of my fridge with no issues and they reduced the replacement part and overnight shipping.
