I was emptying the dishwasher last night and noticed a black rubber ring down at the bottom near the sprayer arm. I looked up my dishwasher by model number and it looks like an o-ring? It measures around the size indicated on the part info.

My question is, does this look like an o-ring to you and what does my husband need to do to fix it. Is it an easy fix or is this something that would warrant a repairman? I have posted a picture of the part.

Thanks so much,

Cecilee

I found an "o" ring like this once,it was from one of those travel mugs. It"s how the lid seals to the lower portion. It's strange to find an errant "o" ring without something being taken apart first.Notice any leaking? It's time to check just to be sure.Good luck.
