No water from water dispenser, but ice maker working. Replaced water inlet valve kit. Still no water.

I would suspect a frozen water reservoir. Consider this: When the thermostat is satisfied, the fan which circulate the air from the cold coils on the freezer side, past the air damper, through the fresh food compartment, and back into the freezer compartment through the air return port at the bottom of the freezer compartment, are off. That means basically that the heavier cold air can migrate backwards through the air return port into the bottom of the fresh food compartment while the fan is off. Well, guess where the water reservoir is. That's right! In the bottom of the fresh food compartment! Try heating the water reservoir with a hair dryer and see if it starts dispensing water. If it does, here's what will prevent this from occurring again. Set the fresh food temperature to a COLDER temperature. This makes the fan run more, increasing air circulation. At the same time, set the freezer temperature to a warmer setting . This method has worked many times for me over the years. Let me know if this helps! By the way, do not use a heat gun on the reservoir! It will melt! The hair dryer method will work if you are patient. It normally takes at least 10 to 15 minutes to do any good. Good luck! =]

Thank you. Where is the water reservoir located?

In the bottom of the fresh food compartment behind the crisper drawers. No problem. Let me know if I can answer any more questions for you. =]
