Rear panel of freezer has frost all over it and frig not cooling properly.
Internet research suggest heater element. Have ordered from AppliancePartPros. How difficult is it to install? Should I have ordered any
additional parts? Have a friend with same model and had his replace a year ago. Same problems.

The new part look is a double heater and your old one is probably a single heater. But don’t worry all you have to do is move the wire on the right to the left and connect both on the same side. Sometimes the wire will no longer reach when you do this but the new heater comes with an extension. There will be good instructions with the part so read them carefully before attempting the repair. Hope this helps! GE Refrigerator Repair Guide
