My maytag washer fills and thats it. Sometimes I turn it off and turn the timer to spin it will drain and spin. The lid switch checks good, the water level switch cks good. The washer is 12 years old never had a problem. I checked for voltage to the motor and all the legs have voltage. I have a good ground on pin 7 of the water level switch. I cleaned the timer switched with contact cleaner. I am thinking it may be the timer, could it be the motor start switch??? Please help if posible....thanks..

If the voltages to the motor check out ok, check the common pin ohms to any winding, probably find an open internal motor thermal shutoff.
