Hi,
I am posting this question for a friend. He has a GE GSS23WSTASS side by side unit that stopped making ice a few days ago. Also, he believes the water coming out of his water dispenser seems to have lost some pressure. My first two thoughts are that either the water inlet valve may be bad and/or the line going into the ice maker is frozen as well, though that wouldn't cause the decrease the in water pressure from the dispenser since there are two separate lines for ice maker and dispenser. There is a green led on the ice maker control panel that blinks repeatedly as well. Any further thoughts? Is there a way to initiate a led diagnostic sequence on this GE model? Your response is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason

Nevermind, I fixed it. I ran an initial test by switching the solenoid connectors on the dual inlet water valve and depressed the water dispenser and water filled the ice maker, which would initially indicate a bad ice maker. I then changed the water filter and now it's working fine.
