I removed the back panel and the evaporator of the freezer and it is totally iced/ heavily frosted. It is a defrost problem for sure. I attempted the 3 methods of initiating the ADC Test Mode (1.turn off the cold control for 15 seconds/on for 5 seconds 3 times 2. Unplug unit from wall turn the cold control off for 30 seconds plug back in 3.Cycle cold control on and off three times in six seconds, Nothing happened Compressor keeps running, fans still going etc defrost heater never came on. I then clipped the 2 wires from the middle of the bimetal/defrost thermostat and joined them together in order to close the bimetal and jumpstart the ADC test mode.-This action did not turn off the compressor and turn on the defrost heater Could it be a bad relay on the ADC board or the entire Control board? How difficult is changing the ADC board?

:) I have discovered that the unit doesn`t have a defrost control board(thank goodne$$$$) but the unit has a defrost timer. I manually turned it and a defrost cycle began and it also converted back into cooling mode. I will monitor it for continued defrost cycles. Could a defrost timer be repaired?
