Is the fan in the freezer running. It may stop when the door is opened. There is a return vent at the bottom of the dividing wall. Make sure it's clear.

Remove the screws to the control panel in the fridg. and check the air vent. Something might be blocking it.

I have - trust me - nothing is blocking it. I have removed it (only one screw in front of lamp) and rechecked. Again, when freezer door is open air flow is fine (and cold) but instantly stops when I shut the freezer door!!

Keep the control panel hanging and check for airflow when the freezer door is closed.

With panel hanging down - same thing. Styrofoam is easily removed and found clear. Door open....nice cold air flow - Door closed....NADA! I reattached panel and air flow is still nice when freezer door is open. Thanks for suggestions. Still Miffed!!!

You must have something that blocks air flow, either that or your fan blade is slipping on the motor shaft, or your fan motor is shutting off when you close the door.

I know you would think that, but with both doors open. I turn the control from off to on. (it starts as soon as It clicks off the 0 mark...and runs on 2,7 position) I can hear and feel it turn on. I turn it back off to 0 and air flow stops as fan shuts down. Turn it back on and PRESTO. Everything fine. BUT I shut the freezer door (BTW has no switches attached whatsoever just 2 hinges and a seal) and the air flow stops and there is NO change in fan operation - it is working fine - just no air traveling through the vent. Is it possible something else is blocked? Is there any air "intake" on freezer like when the door is open or something?
