The range completely turns off. When you move the range it turns on..... Appears to be a ground or a loose connection. If so unable to locate.... I have replaced the large burners wire and on/off controls due to sparks and burn. Sometimes when you turn on the burners the burners will not go to full "hi" temp..... then I turn the control knob off and range has no power.

Quote:Model Number: JPB24EK1BB I can find no listing for such a model number. The closest I found was J BP24EK1BB. Please double check it. Quote:When you move the range it turns on... What specific part(s) of the range stop operating, the element, lights, displays?? Which ones do stop should point to the area of the range wiring needing the inspection. Quote:I have replaced the large burners wire and on/off controls due to sparks and burn Was the range working at all before and after that immediate repair? Yes you have the correct model number. I have looked and tightened everything (wire) I see. This may help.....The clock shows nothing. I turn on the burner the clock time blinks but the burners are not turned on. I move the range around side to side, pull out, bump and the power comes and the clock blinks. Understand ? Any ideas ?

I have no specific areas to suggest looking at besides maybe the main terminal block where the cord connects to the range wiring and/or the wall outlet.
