Our GE dishwasher stopped in the middle of a cycle. The outlet is working perfectly. No lights on panel, and no "Beep" when the dishwasher is first plugged in. After some research we bought and replaced the control panel. This made no change.

After waiting several days for the control panel, I plugged in the unit BEFORE REPLACING THE PART and it lit up and drained, but when I hit the reset, all was dead once more. When it was draining the wash light was blinking, which is not normal either.

Now that I've spent $100 and not solved the problem, could this be something as simple as a $5 switch interlock? I don't think it's a latch problem because it should still "Beep" when plugged in. I don't believe there is a fuse inside this unit or I would've sarted there. I found a post with a similar problem, but unfortunately it was not solved...

I would check the door switch for continuity with a multimeter.
