The telescopic arm on the my GE Dishwasher (GSD4060n10ss) broke, I have ordered and have the replacement spray arm but can not get the old sprey arm assembly off, I have puled up ad turned clock wise and counter clock wise but does not seem to be working. I don't want to damage any other parts, please advise in removing the sprey arm. Fo1rd Jan 14, 2012.

I figured out how to remove this item after I posted thequestion. On the back side of the sprayarm hub there is a tab. You will need aflat head screw driver, take the screw driver and pry the tab back. Once the tab is pryed back, the spray armwill slide out with ease. I am posting avideo on youtube.com here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmVk7mq89js&feature=youtube_gdata_player. hope it helps.
