I have a Kenmore Elite Side-by-Side refrigerator/freezer. The ice maker makes ice and dispenses into the bin; however, the ice slightly melts in the bin, causing the ice to refreeze and cannot be used. Any ideas where I should start with regards to trouble-shooting this? Thanks in advance.

So, I noticed that when the ice first falls into the bin, it appears to be already slightly melted. Probably just enough to adhere to other pieces of ice and create a melted block. Has anyone seen this before? What could be causing it? Thanks for the help.

Your mold heater thermostat could make the mold too hot, or your freezer temperature too warm.
Measure freezer temperature, should average lower than 10 degrees.
