I have found in the database that the drain pan is screwed to the compresor in my refrigerator model. I have really bad smell in the drain pan and need to either replace or wash out the pan. How do i unscrew it from the dompressor?

Thanks

Looks like it slips onto a bracket on the top of the compressor and is then glued in place.

With luck you can reach in and clean it.

Once clean I would wipe the inside of it with 20% bleach solution, trying to kill whatever is growing in there causing the stink.
Also check that the end of the drain tiube is OK (no gunk).

Be sure to wear old clothes.
