We are having a problem with the freezer side of this unit not defrosting. When I open the freezer side and look into the area where the ice should come out, there is a round part that looks like it should seal air out. It is not in the position to create a seal. Therefore, warm air is continuing to come into the freezer section and ice is forming in the bottom of the freezer daily. How do I get to the inside to reposition this part and therefore stop the air leak. Also, there is no ice chute attached any where.

Do I need to buy a ice chute to completely fix the problem or can I just fix the air leak. I would definitely like to correct the air leak. Any diagrams you could send me would be very helpful.

There is a diagram on this site, just click on your model # There are two screws in back of the fountain bottom grill, just remove them and the assembly will come out.
