my icemaker is not working. i checked the line is it looks fine. i don't know what else to try. please help. thanks,

Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.

i tried to swap the cables but they are not the same and don't fit.

With someone to assist you, you can just hold the plugs to the other valve holding the plastic insulation or wearing your rubber dish washing gloves to prevent shock, while your assistant does the water dispenser.
