Leave the green wire there. The unit comes with a ground strap attached. It is located where your power cord is nutted on the the terminal block in the back of the range. It is attached to the middle (of the three) nuts and this strap is screwed directly to the chassis, should be right behind your white (neutral) wire below the terminal. If I remember, it's thin brass, less then 2 inches long. If you have three wires gong to the terminal post, and a forth wire going to the chassis, and you still have that strap, remove it (should of been removed during install). When I corrected this, and turned it on, the same error came back on, but resetting the circuit breaker (10 min off(maybe twice(I forget(it might store the code)):) corrected the error, and has has been good for over a month. Good thing to check this before swapping circuit boards. Of course turn off the circuit breaker before doing this. The strap stays for a 3 wire install, if local code permits. (no ground wire to chassis). The install instructions should be online if you don't have it (pg. 6) Good luck.
(I would guess changing from a 3 to 4 wire install might also correct this condition, to decrease electrical noise to the computerish electronics:)

All:

I was able to fix this code on my Electrolux range by turning on Control Lock and then turning it off. So simple! Feel terrible for all the people that replaced their range.

Just wanted to let you know that I am having the exact thing happening to my stove. I think Electrolux should see that this is a common problem and find out how to fix it.

I have a Electrolux slide in range (it is not induction). I am running into E 15 error code and beeping every 2 minutes several times. The only way I can fix this problem is to disconnect the range from power (either unplugging the range or turning off the circuit breaker) and wait long enough for the cook top to totally cooled off. When I reconnect the power, the reset to default factory setting will kick in and the E 15 error code and beeping is gone. If you do not wait long enough for the cook top to cool off, the problem will not be fixed. Changing the range to the factory default setting without restarting the power do not work either. I think many of the solutions in previous posts may have the same effect as powering the range off and waiting long enough for the cook top to cool off and powering the range on again. I have not had the 'opportunity' to try the lock on/off procedure yet.
I think that there is a timer in the UIB that expects the cook top to have cooled off. When the timer goes off and the cook top is not yet cooled off, it starts the self-test and eventually the E 15 error.
This problem did start after I moved the range for kitchen renovation and perhaps the ESEC-UIB was damaged during the move.

EUREKA ! I finally found the problem : interference with other electronics nearby the range !!! My Electrolux induction range cannot stand any iPhone, iPad or Fitbit watch nearby ....it reacts by the famous code E15. It took a years of research on the web for me to find that out ..... and yes, it was an intermittent problem so I never decided to change this famous board since many people did ...without success.
