My ice maker froze over, making what was in the tray one solid block and leaked down the side of the freezer. After cleaning it up and unfreezing with hair dryer, it was clicking. Now the clicking has stopped but no ice.? Is this a lost cause?

If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water.
If it continuously drips, replace the water inlet valve on the back where the house water supply comes in.

What is clicking. Will the water stop when you unplug one of the connections on the new water valve. Either the valves won't cut off or the ice maker continuously sends for water.
