recently (2 day ago) the burners on my stove appear to be starving for gas. one single burner will light just fine and produce a normal flame. as i turn on more burners, the flames get lower and lower. by the time i get 3 burners going the flame levels on them are extremely low and the 4th burner doesn't seem to have enough gas pressure to even ignite. the stove was converted to lp gas years ago when i bought it brand new and is still hooked up to the lp gas tank. there are also times when the oven will take a long to get up to temperature but from my searching and reading posts that appears to be a weak ignightor and unrelated to my current issue. i put a new pressure regulator on the lp tank and completely removed the one directly mounted on the back of the stove. that didn't change anything. any suggestions??

Quote:completely removed the one directly mounted on the back of the stove. You shouldn't do that. They usually have a built-in pressure release valve for safety. Quote:i put a new pressure regulator on the lp tank Are you sure the tank is not empty or malfunctioning in some other way? I can't think of anything else which might cause your symptoms besides maybe a partial blockage in one of the main gas pipes of the appliance. no but the copper line from the tank to the stove is only about 3-4 feet long and i can visually see that it's not kinked or anything like that. and since iv'e changed the pressure reg on the tank to a brandy new one and removed the pressure reg from the back of the stove altogether, i'm pretty darn sure that isn't it. i'm just befuddled as to what else it could be. i think i'm going to condem the stove and just go electric at this point.
