We had a tech test the ice maker and said the problem is the water valve, we replaced the valve but still no ice. When I disconnect the hose going into the freezer water will come out so I think the freezer tube may be clogged or frozen. Is there a tool to unclog it or could it be something else?
Thanks, Scott

I tried the hair dryer and blew compressed air through the tube but still no luck. We were using the icemaker without a filter for a couple years so something may be clogging in it. Should I replace the tube (assuming it is a clog) or is there another part I should test to be sure?
Thanks again for your help, Scott

Will the air blow through the fill tube. Take the tube out to inspect. You should be able to clear it without buying another. It's not real small and little stuff won't stop it up.

There was a spirting noise and now its working. A good reason to keep the filter on.
Thanks again, Scott
