maytag dryer extremely noisy at start, sounds like bunch of tennis balls in drum all flipping at one time, makes tapping sounds while spinning and makes loud noise when shuting off. I've taken off door panel and started dryer while off but don't see loose belts, pulleys or broken belts. Is it the blower motor?

I think I broke it down to the blower wheel. There's a little clamp on the end that I took off but can't figure out how to get the wheel off after that. what do I need to do?
