when the washer gets to the final spin it wont spin fast the clock goes back and forth from minute 7 and 8 7 and 8 it wont go past that is there something wrong with the timer please help

Sounds like a control board problem AP4027824, rather pricey!!. You can monitor the speed control input single phase current.This would be right at the black and white wires to the two pin connector. If it fails to get power during high speed spin, this might just confirm a bad control board. But your symptoms definitely confirm a bad control board, 90% sure. I measured the current to the washer on one. You can measure right below the top at the power wire into the washer. If you measure more than 3 amps during high speed spin, if it ever gets there, you are exceeding the current rating of the motor and it will drop out on the motor thermal over load. This is usually due to bad tub bearings. Hope this helps.
