The freezer and refrigerator were not cooling to the same level as they were when installed. I have adjusted the tstat on both and they are currently holding the right temp. does anyone have an idea as to why the temp change would occur.

Just monitor freezer and fridg. temperatures and see what the average temperatures are, probably in defrost when you checked it, or maybe something gowing bad.

Freezer temp averaged 10 degrees and refrigerator averaged 50 degrees over two days. This is a secondary unit. We noticed an increase in the refrigerator temp over about a week. adjusting the tstat has brought the temps to 0 in the freezer and 40 in the refrigerator. They have been holding consistant for two days. My concern is what may have caused the need for the adjustment. Note that we have had record high temps a week before.

Did you adjust the airflow control in the freezer, it might have some ice buildup in there below the plastic tower in the freezer.

I adjusted the temp control in the freezer and the control in the refrigerator. I attempted to pull the plastic trim that contains the temp control dial but could not get it loose. I can see and free up the clips on the sides and know that the bottom drops into a slot but there appears to be something holding the top two corner that I cannot see.
