I have a GE Profile Refrigerator that was purchased about 5 years ago. It worked ok when we first got it but now the doors on the refrigerator will not stay closed on top and the Bottom Freezer constantly is in defrost mode. So much so that I cannot purchase any type of ice cream. It will not keep it frozen. It probably defrosts every other day. Any solutions?

Pull the freezer back panel and check frost pattern, if total heavy frost, defrost with hair dryer and post stabilized freezer temperature.
