I am going to try to replace the microwave door. Is it difficult or rather easy and how do I do it? I would prefer to open the door up and clean the corroded parts that show through the window of the door but this seems very difficult? Is it and if not, how would I do that?

This job is not too difficult if you know how to handle a simple tools. Remove the microwave from the cabinet, remove the outer case and you'll see what to do next.
If you need the correct part number for the door assembly then post the color of the door.
Gene.

Yikes - The microwave is built into the wall so I was hoping not to have to remove it. Is that the only way to replace the door? The color is stainless steel.
