Our KitchenAid gas oven won't ignite when turned on. We smell gas, hear loud clicking noises, but no ignition. Looking at the burner during this process, we don't see any sparks coming from the igniter. Please help us out!

Thanks.

The first thing I would do is check the gas valve/regulator (#13 on the diagram)

You can find the complete instructions in one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...l-oven-wont-heat-up.html

Thanks Gene. What should I be looking for? The gas definitely comes on when I turn on the oven. We just don't get ignition even though the usual clicking noise is there. I took the burner covers off and there's no spark at the igniter, which is what I expected to coincide with the clicking noises that I hear.

Thanks again!

Have you checked the gas valve/regulator? What was the result?

Gene.
