The temp. in the freezer changes from 6* to 32* constantly. The temp in the fridge stays at the set temp.

is the light going off when the door closes ? does it have an ice maker? is the i/m hot under the mold? if it is hot it is jambed and the release heater is staying on. possible defrost timer shorted and the d/f heater going on and off. is the condenser clean and cond/fan running?
